The following terms and conditions apply to all purchases of products by you from Want Living.com. Please read them carefully. We may vary these terms from time to time and therefore you should check to ensure you have the latest version before you make a new purchase. Your legal rights are not affected by these terms and conditions.

1.1 Acceptance of web orders: All orders need to have a valid email address supplied with your order. We will acknowledge as soon as possible your order to the email address supplied and send further details to this email address during the supply process. Replies will be in the main during our office hours Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (excluding bank holidays).
1.2 Acceptance of orders placed by phone: Orders placed over the telephone during our office hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm (excluding bank holidays) will undergo additional security checks once the order has been placed by you. This is to protect the Company and you against fraud. As a result, we cannot guarantee next day delivery on phone orders. Furthermore, occasionally we will contact you after a telephone order has been placed to request additional information; this is to protect both parties against potential fraudulent transaction. Further information may be requested to confirm your identity such as a copy of a utility bill or other proof of address – until we have this information, we will be unable to process your order.
1.3 Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and the Company will take place on the despatch to you of the products ordered, unless you have cancelled prior to despatch of your order or the Company has declined your order, at which point any agreed or implied contract will be deemed complete.
1.4 Accuracy of content: The Company has taken every care in the preparation of the content of this website, in particular to ensure that prices quoted are correct at time of publishing and all products have been fairly described. However, orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the goods or their prices as advertised on this website. We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colours of our products that appear on the website. All materials refer to the main material used. Other materials may be used in the product but may not be listed. The weights, dimensions and heat outputs given are approximate only.
Ordering errors: You are only able to correct any errors on your order up to the point at which you click "submit" or "make payment" on the final page of our ordering process. Please check your order carefully prior to confirming your order and making payment. See also Right to Cancel (point 11)
Availability: All items are supplied subject to availability. We will inform you as soon as possible if the goods you have ordered are not available or delayed. In the event that we are unable to supply all the goods as ordered, we will inform you of this as soon as possible. You will be given the option to cancel any of the delayed items and a full refund will then be given for any items which have not been delivered. Refunds will be completed within 14 days by the same method as that of the received payment.
Order termination: The Company reserves the right without liability to notify you that we do not accept your order.
Prices: The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order. All prices include VAT at the applicable current rates, and include the delivery charges unless stated otherwise. While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of goods you have ordered, we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price, or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If your order is cancelled and you have already paid for the goods, you will receive a full refund within 21 days by the same method as that of the received payment. Payment: We take payment from your Credit/Debit card/PayPal at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details. Fraud checks may be conducted. This may involve your details being passed to a third party fraud checking company. On occasion, we may ask for additional information in order to process your order. We will conduct this process as quickly as possible. However, on occasion, dispatch of goods may be delayed.
All credit/debit card and PayPal transactions are taken in the UK and our transaction currency is in UK Pounds (£) only. No additional fees will be added for credit card use.

By signing a credit agreement online you agree to comply with the terms and conditions and all other policies of Barclays Partner Finance. The Company accepts no responsibility for customer's actions or agreements made during the Barclays Partner Finance application process. If you purchase items from the Company using retail finance, your credit agreement is with the lender and not with the Company.
Delivery of orders: We make every effort to deliver goods within the estimated timescales. However, delays are occasionally inevitable due to unforeseen factors and all goods and products are subject to availability. We will do our best to get all orders despatched as quickly as possible. We have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered. You have the right to cancel delayed orders at any time and get a refund prior to the item being despatched. We recommend that you make arrangements for trade people to carry out work on your behalf only after your order has been delivered and checked for damage. If you are purchasing to replace an existing item we also recommend you do not dispose of your existing item until your new goods have arrived and been checked for damage. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims. If there is no one available (aged over 18) to sign for the ordered items, we reserve the right to cancel the order after the third attempt to deliver the items ordered.
Passing of risk and title: The risk in the goods shall pass immediately to the buyer on the delivery to the buyer or the destination and or location (being acceptable to the Company) so designated by the buyer. Title passes on payment to the Company.
Delivery restrictions: We only deliver to mainland UK addresses. Some items may be heavy and are only delivered to the ground floor. Subject to access of our delivery vehicles, it is the buyer’s responsibility to inform the Company of any special delivery requirements in advance and to provide due warning and notice of any changes in such arrangements. It is your responsibility also to inform the Company of any potential issues/restrictions with regards to our vehicle attempting delivery: This includes, but is not limited to: narrow access roads, resident of a block of flats, residents parking only etc. The Company reserves the right to refuse to accept an order and/or cancel an order if the order cannot be reasonably delivered.
The Company shall not be responsible to you, nor shall you acquire any rights against the Company arising from failure or delay in manufacture or delivery due to any cause whatsoever beyond the Company’s control and especially (but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing) from:
a) Failure or delay in raw materials
b) Strikes, lock-outs or trade disputes
c) Destruction or damage (by fire or otherwise) or breakdown of machinery, plant buildings or premises
d) Breakdown or failure of electric or other power including fuel shortages.
e) Breakdown in transit (delivery vehicle)
f) Default (including breach of contract) of subcontractors
g) Government controls and orders affecting economic or trade conditions or practices or other use.
In the case of any such delay the delivery date laid down in the order or contract shall be deferred for such period, as the Company may consider reasonable.
Returns policy: Right to cancel: If you have changed your mind and want to return an item to us, we are pleased to offer all customers a 14 day returns policy. You have 14 days from delivery of your goods in which to notify us if you want to return items for a refund. Once we have received notice, we will then get in touch to arrange to collect the item(s) you want to return, however we do not accept responsibility for covering the cost of collection for non-damaged or faulty goods. Smaller items may be posted back to the Company. Please be aware that postage charges incurred by returning the item(s) to us will not be refunded. We recommend that you use a trackable delivery service. Items can only be returned unused and in a saleable condition, and packaged in their original packaging or packaging of an equivalent standard, and must include a completed returns form. Please take reasonable care of the goods; we are entitled to deduct an amount from the refund to reflect any loss in value of the goods supplied, if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling of the goods by you, or damaged upon return via any form of transport arranged by the Buyer. Note: Where multiple items form part of the same order but have been delivered separately, your right to cancel ends 14 days after the date on which the last product(s) was (were) delivered to you.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by email or post). Using our contact form on our website or by email is the quickest way for us to manage your cancellation and for you to meet the cancellation deadline.
Delivery discrepancies: Any delivery discrepancies must be reported as soon as is reasonably possible after delivery, preferably within 24 hours. On arrival, if packaging appears damaged, it is recommended this is marked on the delivery note before you sign. Reported via website or by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
Damaged or faulty items: If you notice that any of your items are damaged or faulty when you receive your delivery, please refuse the delivery and contact us to arrange re–delivery of a replacement. If you discover after delivery that any items are damaged or faulty, please report this to us within 14 days of delivery. Visit the Contact us page for full contact details.
We will contact you to arrange a replacement, send replacement parts or issue a refund. If you choose to receive a refund, we will refund you in full to your original payment method (your payment card or PayPal account); including any delivery charges you paid if your whole order is being refunded. To ensure a swift refund, please complete a returns form and attach it to your item. We ask that you do not use the damaged items and that you re–package them in their original packaging wherever possible. Nothing within this returns policy affects your legal rights.
Warranty: We offer a minimum of one year warranty on all our products against manufacturing defects where used in accordance with the instructions. Longer warranties may apply to some items these will be clearly shown on the website prior to purchase. This is subject to the following exclusions: Where incorrect assembly occurs or use of non-recommended parts, or third party accessories not compatible with original design are used; where the product has been tampered with by a third party or interventions by non-authorised personnel; where your product is covered by our warranty against manufacturing defect, we will, at our discretion provide a spare part, repair, replacement or refund. Please contact us with a full description and photographs of the fault, using email@example.com or from the website. We may arrange an engineer to inspect the item and either rectify the fault on site or advise on action required. Where your product is no longer under warranty, we will endeavour to repair or replace parts subject to availability. There may be charges for outside the warranty period - these will be advised before proceeding.
Limitation of liability: We shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages or expenses. This includes, but is not limited to, damage to property, lost income, profits, economic or commercial losses and third parties claims. Our total liability in connection with or arising from the Order, whether in negligence or otherwise, shall be limited to the value of the Goods. Any disclaimers and exclusions of liability in these terms and conditions shall not apply to any damages arising from death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the Company or any of its employees or agents. These disclaimers and exclusions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with law. If any provisions of these disclaimers and exclusions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
Ownership of rights: All rights, including copyright, in this website are owned by or licensed to the Company. Any use of this website or its contents, including copying or storing it or them in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use is prohibited without the permission of the Company. You may not modify, distribute or re-post anything on this website for any purpose.
Damage to your computer: the Company makes every effort to ensure this website is free from viruses or defects. However, we cannot guarantee your use of this website or any websites accessible through it won't cause damage to your computer. It is your responsibility to ensure the right equipment is available to use the website and screen out anything that may damage it. You can access our website home page and browse our site without disclosing your personal data. If you want to purchase items from us, you will need to give us the following personal information: (i) Your title, name and address (including option to save different delivery addresses); (ii) Contact phone number and email addresses. None of your data will be passed to any third party company other than those who need parts of it to enable them to complete delivery of your order.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge. Recycling unwanted electrical products is better for the environment. Lead and other toxins contained in electrical goods can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a very harmful effect on the natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. When situated near populated areas these toxins can cause problems to communities as their water and soil is polluted. Many of the electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save natural resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending waste electrical goods to landfill. Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment have a part to play in reducing the amount of electronic equipment going into landfill sites. Want Living.com offers our customers free take-back of your old electronic equipment on a like-for-like basis when you buy a new electrical product from us. If purchasing a new electrical item from us we would accept your old electrical item and prevent it going into a landfill site by disposing of it safely. Customers must return their old electrical item to us within 28 days of purchasing their new item. It is the consumer that is responsible for organising the return of such goods, to us and the costs involved. Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the symbol shown to the right: Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so they can be recycled.
